Can you believe that it's been three years since we started the "Keep Moving" Family and Fitness Sundays Programme. When we started it was a pilot project that we called "Get Moving" and as we all know our intention was that it would be an ongoing service to the residents of Diego Martin and beyond. We have had over the years many stories of people making new friends as well as people getting to know their community better as well as have a safe and secure environment to partake in a healthy activity.
We see this as a very important contribution that we can make to fellow citizens in the spirit and hope that the good will catches on and other people are inspired to make Trinidad and Tobago a better place one community at a time.
This year we are celebrating this third anniversary with a couple of fun activities that includes The GDF Suez aerobics burnout as well as sampling from our important sponsors Kiss Healthy Balance, Yoplate Yogurt, Dimes Juices and Blue Waters. We would like to thank our other sponsors that have been with us since inception The Beacon, Hilo Food Stores and Grill to Go. We must make special mention of the Sport Company of Trinidad and Tobago for choosing continue to support the programme as well as the Police Service and the Diego Martin Regional Corporation for their ongoing support.
For this day we have invited all of the Media houses to attend and cover the activity as well interview some of the residents that the programme has positively affected over the years. We ask that you to come out in your numbers and attend and take to opportunity to chat with the government officials that would be present about the benefits of the programme.
