Every year the International Olympic Committee (IOC) celebrates the Olympic spirit by hosting a worldwide event of recognition called Olympic Day. It is the responsibility of all affiliates to commemorate this day in their own way in keeping with the theme of the Olympic movement. This year the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) will host their annual celebration in Chaguaramas, an event which was usually held at the King George the V Park. We are pleased that this year MTB will be added to the programme as Chaguaramas is the perfect place for the activity:
Date: Saturday, June 25th 2011 The Start Time: 9am Location: Samman Park
Registration Fee:
$ 80 for the open categories $ 40 for the other categories
Registration can be done at Mike’s Bikes and on location of the event with a late fee of an additional $10
Olympic day activities will also include: ü A 5K Run ü Badminton ü Volleyball ü Wheel Chair Races ü Dance ( Ballroom) ü Football ü Mini Golf / Snagg Golf ü Mini Hockey ü Paralympics ü Target Archery ü Karate ü Kayak ü Tag Bee ü Aerobics ü Dragon Boat Races ü Basket Ball ü Face Painting ü Bouncy Castle
All registered participants and sponsors will receive a certificate of participation.
